Access Roles

Limit temporary channels to members with certain roles.

With Access Roles you decide which roles may see and join the temporary channels of a Creator Channel. Leave the list empty and every member can use them.

Where to find this?

Open the Dashboard, select your server, pick the correct Creator Channel and navigate to the Access Tab.

Every role in the list gets view and connect on each new channel. As soon as you add at least one role, you can also pick what happens to everyone else:

Visibility for non-role membersResult
Hidden from othersMembers without one of the roles can't see the channel.
Visible to everyoneEveryone sees the channel, and Default Visibility decides whether they can join.

Note

Owners still control their own channel. /lock and /hide then apply to the access roles, and /trust or /inviteuser let single members in even without the role.

A common use is a verification role. See Using a verification system? for the full setup, including the permissions Horizon needs on the category.
