CONFIGURE TEMPORARY VOICE CHANNELSChannel Settings
Channel Settings
Age restriction, channel panel, member log and block behaviour.
Where to find this?
Open the Dashboard, select your server, pick the correct Creator Channel and navigate to the Feature Tab.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Age Restriction | Marks every temporary channel as NSFW. |
| Channel Panel | Posts the Horizon Panel into the temporary channel right after it was created, so owners don't have to use commands. |
| Member Log | Posts short messages in the channel chat when somebody joins or leaves, claims the channel or hands it over. You pick which of the four events are logged. |
| Block Hides Channel | On by default. Blocked members can't see the channel at all. Turn it off to only keep them from joining. |
| Additional Owner Permissions | Extra Discord permissions the owner gets in their own channel, on top of view, connect and speak. |
Additional Owner Permissions
By default an owner gets no extra permissions, and Horizon handles everything through its own commands. You usually don't need to change this.
| Permission | What the owner can do |
|---|---|
| Create Invite | Create Discord invites to the channel. |
| Manage Channel | Rename the channel and change its settings in Discord directly. |
| Manage Permissions | Edit the channel's permission overrides in Discord directly. |
| Video / Stream | Turn on camera and screen share. |
| Voice Activity (no PTT) | Talk without push to talk, even if the server forces it. |
| Priority Speaker | Lower the volume of others while speaking. |
| Move Members | Move members between voice channels. |
Note
Manage Channel and Manage Permissions let the owner change things Horizon otherwise controls, for example the permissions of your access roles.
