Owner Tools
Which features channel owners may use, extra owner permissions and channel behaviour.
As a server admin you decide which features channel owners are allowed to use. Disabled features are hidden from owners and their commands don't work.
Where to find this?
Open the Dashboard, pick your server, open Generators and choose the generator. This is the Owner tools section of its page.
Features
Each feature has its own switch with a short description next to it. Turning one off also stops a saved profile from restoring that part.
Channel Moderators
Channel moderators have their own section further down the page, with permission delegation and protection settings. See Channel Moderators.
Channel behaviour
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Age Restriction | Marks every temporary channel as NSFW. |
| Block Hides Channel | Only shown while Block / Unblock is enabled. On by default: blocked members can't see the channel at all. Turn it off to only keep them from joining. |
The Channel Panel switch is in the Greeting section.
Additional Owner Permissions
Extra Discord permissions the owner gets in their own channel, on top of view, connect and speak. By default an owner gets none, and Horizon handles everything through its own commands. You usually don't need to change this.
| Permission | What the owner can do |
|---|---|
| Create Invite | Create Discord invites to the channel. |
| Manage Channel | Rename the channel and change its settings in Discord directly. |
| Manage Permissions | Edit the channel's permission overrides in Discord directly. |
| Video / Stream | Turn on camera and screen share. |
| Voice Activity (no PTT) | Talk without push to talk, even if the server forces it. |
| Priority Speaker | Lower the volume of others while speaking. |
| Move Members | Move members between voice channels. |
A warning sign next to a permission means Horizon itself lacks it on the generator channel, so it can't hand it out.
Note
Manage Channel and Manage Permissions let the owner change things Horizon otherwise controls, for example the permissions of your access roles.
